Fundraising Rewards

The Foundation is excited to welcome all riders accepting the challenge of the 2014 Amy’s Share the Road Tour. By taking part you are committed to the fundraising challenge that will help the AGF implement our 2014 advocacy, campaign and educational programs with the primary objective of helping to ensure our roads become a safer place to ride.

It's important to recognise individual riders who go above and beyond in their efforts to raise funds through their business and social networks.

Accordingly, we are excited to confirm the following major prizes that willl be presented to riders at the event finale in Airlie Beach.

* Any pre-determined AGF sponsorship committment already applied against a rider by the AGF is excluded from the overall individual total funds raised.  This ensures that the prizes are awarded fairly and gives all riders an equal opportunity.

In 2013, SBS commissioned artist Bruce Doscher to create images of ten of the most famous moments in the 100 years of Le Tour.  Only nine original copies of each of the ten moments were produced.  The highest fundraiser will receive these fantastic two framed images complete with certificates of authenticity detailing each story representing  two of these moments:

1989 – The Eight Second Epic

2001 – Zabel’s Six in A Row

$500 Travel Voucher

(Donated courtesy of Flight Centre Active Travel)

Flight Centre Active Travel are the official corporate travel partner of the AGF and have kindly donated two $500 travel vouchers to be presented to both the person who takes second spot on the fundraising podium and also the person that may not have raised the most but has the most number of individual donations.  The difficult part is working out what to use it for!

Flight Centre Active Travel take pride in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all their customers when they are competing in major global active events just like the Amy’s Share the Road Tour. Whether their customers choose to run or cycle around the world, staying active and fit means taking road safety seriously. For this reason Flight Centre Active Travel are proud to partner with the Amy Gillett Foundation in raising awareness for a safer road environment for all road users.
